Flat to choppy water. Tidal beach. Works a few hours before and after high tide. During high tide very choppy. Otherwise excellent flat water conditions. Shallow. Probably not very clean, because it's the so-called "Aussenweser" (river mouth).

No beach. Only a concrete promenade and a lawn to build up and launch the kite. From there you have to walk via a few steps to the water level. The water level is about one meter below the promenade during high tide.

A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.

Wremen is between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven. Drive Northwest along the coast from Bremerhaven and Southwest from Cuxhaven. A 27 Exit called Depstedt north of Bremerhaven. Then follow the signs to Wremen. In Wremen the beach is signed as well.

Be careful. Onshore or strong or gusty winds make entering and leaving the water a little dangerous. Kitesurfing only allowed from April to October, 3 hours before and after high tide.
