Small gravel beach, but grassy area behind it. The beach is at the Windsurfclub Reichenau. On the northern beach the swimmer's zone is located.

Best in NW and SW. At the Bodensee suddenly storms can hit. Therefore a storm warning system has been created, using orange flashing lights, and ships put up a balloon on the mast. Look out for these signals to avoid getting into problems. On the northern beach the wind can be holy. Very good during depressions, since the wind gets funneled from the Rhein.

From Konstanz get to Reichenau. Here all the way to the west end, between `Gaenslihorn` and `Melcherleshorn` you will find the camping side, where you can launch from.

You need a special license to kite here. 25m is the maximum line length allowed. For experienced riders only. Watch the boat traffic. Stay within the shore area, max. 300m out. From April 1st to October 1st stay outside the swimming zone. Don't kite in the area up to the Buerglehorn and sea sign 33 Berlingen and sea sign 5 Horn.
