Strandbad Radlow has a small beach with sand and pebbles and a grassy area. The access to the water is only about 15m wide. Big trees to both ends of the beach. Many tourists in the swimming season, so this beach should be avoided during that period (June to September).

A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.

Take the A10 and A12 towards "Frankfurt/Oder" if you come from the "Berliner Ring". Take the exit no. 4 on the A12 called "Fuerstenwalde West". Then follow the signs to Bad Saarow, Dienstdorf and then Radlow. At the crossing 2 km behind Dienstdorf turn right to Radlow and follow that street all the way to the Strandbad (beach).

The Scharmuetzelsee has a special kite zone. It goes in the North from Werl about 10km south to Wendisch Rietz Yachtclub SV 78, 500m east of the canal entry. Please view the map. It is important to stay far away from the commercial ships. Please avoid any public swimming beach during its season.
