The Dom. Rep. has warm water, and warm air, all year round. No wetsuit is necessary, although sun protection like lycra is always good. Mid September to mid December: great rain season.

The wind here is typically diagonally sideshore from the right and the waves break approx. 50-100m before the bank. This spot is one of the best locations for extremely high jumps and wave riding. In the mornings no wind, about noon it picks up.
