From Brandenburg take B1 westwards towards Plaue. Before Plaue turn left and follow signs to the camping ground Margaretenhof. In front of the lake the street turns left to the camping ground. Park here and walk east to the launch.

The lake has a special zone where it is allowed to kitesurf. The west end is the line between the camping ground Margaretenhof and the factory in Kirchmoeser. The east end is between the two spits where the lake is only 700m wide.
