Flat to choppy waters and reef waves. You start from the beach and go out to the little island Motu Martin. It's narrow here and the best is to go upwind (east) into the big bay where there are more waves. Flat water to the west.

Access
No walk

Beach and reef. The beach is small and gets quickly overcrowded during weekends. The best time is usually during the afternoon (12-4pm). It's easy access here. Also, it's a black sand beach, not shallow, and a lot of dog poop on the beach.

North Cat Cay is a private island of home owners, no public access. You need to be a day guest or have rented a house.

Nightlife

It is the windiest area of Tahiti where you will meet all the locals. The spot is good during trade wind SE/E accelerate by the mountain, it blows often 18-25 knots. Be aware that wind gets gusty and flukey anywhere near the Motu and of course further down in it's wind shadow. Learned quickly that the wind sholdn't be too much S here, best is ESE.
