Small, sandy bay. Rocky point to the west, almost impossible to get out on a kite unless side offshore, not many people try on kites better for windsurfers. Kites can come into bay from Lanes, Kua Point, etc in a emergency. Winds lighter and shifty in the bay but can be nice flat water speed runs. Windsurfers rig bigger sails and more volume boards to get out of the bay to large waves on the outside. Favorite launch for windsurf fishing. Trees on beach hazardous for kites.
