Short walk |
Comming from "Tarifa" follow E5 direction "Cadiz". Follow it until you are in "Vejer de la Frontera", there "Barbate" and "Los Canos de Meca" is indicated. Spot is located near to the lighthouse. You can only go by car (about 1 hour drive).
Extra information
Special windsurf and kitesurf zones. You have to be an experienced kiter or windsurfer! Watch out for the reef located in front of the small apartments. Especially with high and up coming tide! When it is low tide the reef is clearly visible also be careful close to the side anyway! To avoid this go on the water closer to the lighthouse. There you will find a water sport zone.
