Smooth flat water off launch, work your way up wind to the point, small to medium surf at the point, which rolls all the way into the bay on a bigger NW swell. Respect the surfers, stay outside if crowded or work more upwind to reef breaks off cliffs.

Stay up wind of the breakwater, if you cannot, make a down wind run past the harbor and wharf to East beach, walk back 20 min. Nice downwinder anyway.

101 Hwy to Santa Barbara, here onto Castillo St or Garden St exit to East Cabrillo Blvd, drive towards the harbor. The parking lot is by the catamarans, look for kites if it is windy.

Launch in front of the catamarans, stay out of the swim area.
