Not a good spot for kiting, the beach is very narrow, hard to launch and land. Stoney Beach is right beside this beach and much better for kiting.

Winds are generally 10-15 kts SW when they are rideable. Don't get many days higher, but there are a few. Winds are not at all predictable as to when we are going to get them. Sometimes you can get 3 days in a row, sometimes you wait 2 weeks.

Short walk |
From Halifax take the Circumferential Hwy across the bridge into Dartmouth. Follow the highway until Main Street. Follow Main Street until Ross Rd. Turn right onto Ross. Drive to the end of that street and turn left. Drive about 15 min and you're there. It's the provincial park, Lawrencetown Beach. There are other ways but this is fastest and easiest. From Halifax it's about 35 min.
Extra information
Watch out for surfers, specially on the point break.
