No beach. Kitesurf lines can be set up on a grassy park. To enter and exit water you need booties to walk down boat ramp or over rocks.

Hot and humid in the summer. Wetsuit in the winter time when cold air from the fronts blow through. Water temps varies with the seasons. Very warm in the summer and cools off to wetsuit temperatures in winter.

From I-10 exit to West End Blvd. and continue towards the lake. Take a left just before the West End sign on the wall and continue around the marina until you see the park and boat launch.
