Thailand is a tropical country with its typical high temperature all year round. 25-30°C in the cold season, 35-40+°C in the hot season and 30-35°C during the rainy season. Humidity is always high, even though it's easier to bear during the cold season during which the sun shines. The rainy season is characterized by scattered heavy showers now and then everyday, cloudy weather almost full time. Water temperature: 26+°C.

Wind blowing from December to March. Side/sideonshore (E/SE), typically 15-20 knots, days with 25-30 knots possible. All the south coast of the island works from mid December to April and from June to September. In January, February and March, we get 16 knots average 8 days out of 10. April never sees any wind because this time of the year is the transition period between NE monsoon and SW monsoon.

From Bangkok: by plane to Koh Samui and than by boat to KPGN. By bus to Suratthani (Dongsak) and than boat to KPGN (joined ticket for boat and bus available). An island about 15km from Koh Samui.
