This lagoon is excellent to learn and to experience the true glassy ride. Waist deep water with sandy bottom. You can find perfectly flat water in some areas. On the oceanside there's some nice shore breaks.

Easy access, nice open space, easy to launch and to land your kite. Nice beach with a bit of sea weed but the city is cleaning it.

In the lagoon the water temperature is averaging 20°C in summer months but expect couple of degrees less on the oceanside. A shorty is ideal in the lagoon and a full 3mm for the ocean. Air temperature during June through September is around 20-25°C. Season starts in April till the end of September.

A West wind dominates the Acadian Peninsula. The wind is reliable all season averaging 13-18 knots. You will get the strongest wind in April to May and August to September, 20-25 knots. The wind is great 13-18 knots but tend to be stronger at the beginning and at the end of the season, 20-25 knots.

Get on 113 to the Ile Lameque, passing through Shippagan. Cross the bridge and follow signs to Chiasson. Here turn right towards the peninsula to the southwest end of Chiasson.
