Beach Users: |

Beach is littered with small sticks/shells/coral and small pebbles. Top of the beach is soft sand as the tide rarely reaches there. This beach is normally only used on NE to NW winds and at high tides, when there's no beach available at 'The Dome'. This is actually a small creek mouth, which is only joined with the sea at high tide. There is always enough space to launch/land here.

Season normally goes from approx. October to April. Average 10-15 kts NE to NW, sometimes up to 20+ kts. Best direction is N or NW, but NE is ok too, providing you don't go too far west (rocks and reef etc). After April, the winds turn W to SW and are gusty/patchy. This beach is normally only used on NE to NW winds, when there's no beach available at 'The Dome'.

Access
|
Short walk |
Follow the Esplanade west to the Seafront Oval. There is a beach access on the right, between the trees. You can park here but there is no official road/car park, just grass/sand.
Extra information
Because this spot is used in onshore winds mostly, a helmet is a good idea, since there are trees etc right on the beach edge.
