How to get there

Transport
Car, Boat
Access
No walk

Easiest is a rental car. Follow the signs to the Outer Banks from Norfolk (route 168S and then 158S). Then take route 12 south all the way down and pass Avon. Just before Buxton, but you need to access from Kite Point in northerly winds and do a downwinder. At Access 60 is a small launch, but better to do the downwinder.
