On SE winds the low tide is good with a 3-4 foot swell on the outside of 1 kilometer sand spit and flat water on the inside, in NE Winds the in side turns in to a milk pond, like glass.

Great beach with white sand. Plenty of beach even on high tide to set up. Blacks is located within 5 min of three other great beaches for kiting, and three pubs and taverns.

Always wind (except 2-3 weeks a year). We kite just about ever day of the year. We have two seasons: Southeasterly and Northeasterly. SE from January to August. You would be unlucky to more than 3 week in total days that aren't 15 knts average. NE from August to January.
