Excellent waves. As with most of the Durban beaches there is consistent surf year round. Look out for surfers as there are often a few around in the lighter winds. All of Durban's beaches are shark netted.

The beach offers good conditions but on the low tide there are some rocks on the edge of water line. On the higher tide the rocks normally don't come into play. Nice sandy beach with lots of space.
