This beach can have nice waves. Best waves and riding will be with Southern winds. On Westerlies the beach will be very difficult to ride due to many waves breakers and stronger beach break. On South or North winds flat between the wave breakers.

The season goes from April to November. In that time air from spring 10-20°C, in summer up to 30°C and autumn 10-16°C. Water spring 8-13°C, summer 18-23°C, autumn 8-14°C. You always need a wetsuit. You can go out off-season but it will be very cold, a thick wetsuit or better drysuit, mask, shoes and gloves recommended.

Short walk

Take E45 and exit at no.61 and take 28 to Vejle. Then onto 18 passing Give, Brande and Herning until you reach Holstebro. Here take the 11 towards Struer, crossing Oddesund until Ydby. Take a left onto 527 shortly after Gettrup and Vestervig left again onto 181 direction Agger. Follow 181, and turn right into Agger. Follow the street to the beach and park here, or turn right before the dunes and follow the road further North. The conditions are the same. You can park on several parking spots on the dam.
