Sideonshore wind. Zanzibar has two wind seasons: Southest Monsun "Kuzi" and the Northeast Monsun "Kazkazi". End of May til end of November the Kuzi wind blows from Southeast - sideshore from the right. From December til March the Kazkazi blows from Northeast - sideonshore from the left. The wind blows from 11 to sometimes 30 knots. So bring all your gear, also for lighter wind days.
