Busy with fisherman all year, but gets really busy Memorial Day through Labor Day. Location marked is the small craft launch area. Jetties right down wind. You can walk further North to leave further up wind. Sill Jetties and kind of side off shore due to shape of the point.

Pay the fee to get into Sandy point. Most of the season you fee a toll booth machine. So bring some single crisp dollar bills.

Closes at sunset. You have to be good to kite here and should wear a PFD and carry a device to contact rescue if necessary.
