It is important to note that Esperance has been known to have four seasons in one day, with 34°C up till midday then dropping enough for a chill factor to thunderstorms by late evening.

Winds from September to March. Best months are December and January. SE sea breeze but sometimes a SW blows. During winter cold front winds comes heavy rain and squalls. Wind shadows when cross offshore.

From Esperance drive westwards on Twilight Beach Road. After about 15km you will get to a SW facing beach and a parking lot. Park here and walk down to the water.
