The waves curve around the rocky island, being clean inside with flat water in between. Nice kicker waves for right jumpers. Strong shorebreak inside the bay, be careful if you dropped your kite and cannot relaunch. Best is to swim to the kite and let some air out to not break it if it gets washed up.

Easterly trade winds. Best with NE, which will blow between the beach and the rocky island. Don't ride too close into the bay, you will be in the wind shadow. Jumping behind the island will give you a second lift due to the wind blowing over the rocky island.
