Bus from Cebu City to Maya. The 145 kilometer bus trip takes about 3 hours 30 minutes up to 4 hours. A taxi ride will take ca. 3 hours. From early morning to late afternoon several boats from Maya run directly to Bounty Beach on Malapascua Island. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes.
