Wind is good in fall and spring but light in summer. Any westerly direction is very bad due to height of Levee causing bad gusts. East is onshore and a little tough. Southeast wind most days 10-20mph. Fall and winter is frontal driven.

Take I-45 S from Houston and take Texas City exit. Go straight through town and go to what is called the Texas City Dike. Turn left at the base of the Dike and drive on the top of the levee about a mile to the wind sports area.
