This is a very long, beautiful, mostly deserted beach stretching from Tanjung Punggai in the north to Tanjung Sepang in the south.

There is a small military camp at the cliff at the south end of the beach. Avoid venturing too close.
None whatsoever. This is a rural, very rustic part of (muslim) Malaysia. There are a couple of very low-key budget resorts in the area, but no nightlife. Some would say that the absence of crowds and nightlife is part of the attraction of this area.
