Hardings Beach has a huge audience of swimmers and sunbathers. It is a family beach. It is restricted due to the heavy population of people so Hardings Beach is a launch only to ride over to Monomoy Island which has much better conditions to ride. Monomoy is shallow and offers sand bars at low tide. You need to be an intermediate to advanced level to ride there because you have to cross a boat channel with heavy boat traffic and strong currents. Being under powered is not an option because in the channel there are seals and (man eating) sharks that hunt fish coming out of the Stage Harbor.

Hardings Beach is considered a launch only. Do not kite at the beach. Launch only, walk kite over as far east as you can walk preferably just before the boat channel and kite over to flats at Monomoy Island where it is best to ride. Do not ride in front of Hardings Beach due to the swim area.

Hardings beach has a lot of swimmers and sun bathers. You will need to walk far away from this population to set up. Do not kite at Hardings. Use it as a launch and immediately ride over to Monomoy Island flats. Be sure you can ride up wind because you need to in order to get to "the flats" at Monomoy Island.
