The area is rural type with no villages close by, some parts of the shore has sand, other parts have grass. It's usually used for weekend picnics and of course many kiters or windsurfers from the area.

The weather is normal continental type. Starting from mid of April is going towards 20-25°C. May is 25-30°C, June, July, August and September above 30°C. End of September and mid October is 25-30°C. October and November 20-25°C. December, January, February and March are winter months and you can go sometimes (when warmer) with a thick wetsuit or switch to Snowkiting would be a better idea.
