Access
|
Short walk |
Exit I-95 at Sheridan Street and drive east until you hit the beach. Turn left after the bridge onto N Ocean Dr. Then drive until you get to Dania Beach. Before E Dania Beach Blvd turn right onto Cambridge Street and first left onto N beach Road, which will end in the parking lot. Drive to its north end and park. Walk for about 200 yards to the water. Just use GPS to get to Dania Beach Pier then park and walk to the beach north of it.
Extra information
Keep distance from the pier. Do not come within 100 yards of shore or land in John U. Lloyd Park immediately to the North where kiteboarding has been banned for years. Do not come within 100 yards or land on the guarded beaches to the south of the fishing pier either. If you can't stay upwind, this is not an acceptable launch.

Small nightlife in Hollywood, big nightlife in Miami Beach.
