Deep water. Dam levee on North side. Usually small chop but can get 1 ft waves with good blow. Group of 10-20 or so windsurfers and kiters frequent the reservoir.

Usually find some windsurfers at mainbeach and kiters at separate far NE beach. Kiters have self launch anchor installed if your solo. Small scrubs in kite rig area so watch for kite punctute or snag. Windsurf area is clean sand with grass near asphalt lot.
