With West wind (Poniente) good spot for kitesurfing with middle sized waves, sometimes good waves. With East wind (Levante) good spot for windsurfing with very small waves, if strong winds could be choppy. During winter with swell and low pressure wind from SE waves can be excellent.

Very nice and long beach, plenty of space for launching. Soft sand with small pieces of shells. In summer it's crowded and could be restricted.

From Puerto de Santa Maraa drive towards Cadiz direction and you will find Valdelagrana, drive to the beach and you will find the place left of the beach looking seaward. Drive further south to get to the West facing part of the beach.

In summer check with the locals for rules. If too packed, go further south down the beach.

Nightlife

Puerto de Santa Maria is great in summer, in winter is OK on weekends.
