The water is quite shallow for the first 200m. If the wind was blowing from Southwest for some days and then turned to West, the spot is not rideable. There are also few shells in the water.

The beach is quite small. You can rig up near the surf school. During summer there are many tourists, so you have to go some meters westward and launch near the steep coast, not next to the sun chairs!

A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.
