The Ringkobing Fjord is a huge shallow lake. Almost everywhere shallow. Flat water, gets choppier with strong winds. Sandy bottom. Keep distance from the fishing nets. You should walk straight ahead in the water some way, because wooden poles are to the left and to the right at the beginning. Be careful, the left poles may be a few cm BELOW the surface. It hurts if you fall on them. You can walk in there for several 100 meters.
