During low tide the beach is very wide, no obstacles. At high tide the beach becomes very narrow. There is a snack restaurant and some very friendly lifeguards that can even give you a hand to lift and land the kite. There are some rocks at both of the beach sides, but if you are careful, there is still enough place for several kiters.

Take a bus or taxi from Natal airport, 1.5 hours by taxi, 2.5h by bus. Same options from Joao Pessoa, 3 hours by taxi or 4.5h by bus. The beach is 15 minutes walk from the village center.

Many local surfers, do respect them and don't even think about steeling their waves. No crime in Pipa, so don't be afraid from nothing.

Nightlife

The nightlife is great, many great restaurants and bars. Most of the bar keepers are European. It's not a place for clubbing but you will definitely find it a good nightlife place.
