The water is usually great. The tide doesn't really matter although it is a fair walk out if it is low tide. On high tide there is flat water until about 50 metres out and then it turns into chop which is great because you can go charging and launch off the chop. Water is fairly shallow in some spots.

Sand down one end and gritty sand on the other end. There is plenty of places to launch. There is a fairly large beach. And off the beach there is a nice grassy paddock.
