Windy whenever it is sunny to the east. 15-30 knots. Usually 18-25 knots. During Summer windy 80% of the time. Very, very reliable. Thermal winds make Nitinaht one of the most consistent wind location in Canada.

Take a ferry from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. Drive from Duncan west on Hwy 18 past Youbou then follow signs to Nitinat Lake.
