Beach Users:
July, August

At high tide, there is a shingle beach to rig up and launch, there are no groins directly off this spot but there are groins and obstruction down wind. Pebbles at the top, but 2ish hours after high tide nice flat sand appears. This beach works really well in neap tide and is ridable in most tide states. A road and then promenade behind strip of beach dedicated to kite launching (east of the beach huts). The majority of people are west along the beach, however you do get a few fools deciding to go swimming where the kiters are.

How to get there

Transport
Car
Access
Short walk

Littlehampton is a easy drive from London, Brighton and Portsmouth. It is served by major roads and Railway stations train station (20 mins walk from the kitesurfing area), the A27 is a major coastal road and Littlehampton is well sign post and the same goes for the A24 which comes down from London. From Brighton seafront, head west for 20 min along the coast, pass Shoreham (another good spot) and you will see a car park and a grass area. Good car parking on the beach front with car parking in swimming pool across from the beach all of which you have to pay for. Best parking at the East Beach Cafe.
