Beautiful deep beach with 400' boardwalk directly out on the beach. Great sand, clean, no rocks, great dune grass, tons of space to launch and land.

Take 94E to Michigan City exit 34B. This is 421. Take 421 North through town until you dead end into the Public Library. Turn right and then take your first left on Pine. Follow this straight thru the light and over the draw bridge. The street will curve to the right. On the left you will see the Lake, gazebo, and harbor. Continue past the zoo. The road has turned into Lake Shore Drive and you will follow it thru one stop sign to Stop 7. Beachwalk resort is on the right, beach is on the left.

Nightlife

Within 1 mile there is a big sports bar called Mateys, a pub named Swingbelly's and a steak house that has live music every weekend called Galvestons. There is also a deli that serves Starbucks coffee and great panini sandwiches in the Beachwalk.
