Inside the State Park you have a small rocky beach by boat ramps. At the south end of the park there is a sandy beach with grass, but beware the trees, cabanas and light poles if walking a launched kite to or from the water.

From I40 take 95 south. In the town of Lake Havasu look for the state park on your left. You can launch and camp there.
Extra information
Fee to enter the park. Camping is good - you can walk to the launch. Or get a hotel a block away.
