Long walk

A7, and northwest of Bolsward follow signs to Makkum. Park at the big car parking next to the pyramid-shape building (turn right before the wooden bridge and drive all the way to the end). Walk onto the camping and keep right. On the end of the pier/ mole, you'll find the small kitebeach on the left.

The spot is open for kitesurfing from 1st of October to 1st of May. The area inside the bay between the pier/ mole and the holiday park is restricted for kitesurfing. You have to stay outside the yellow bouys. Read the large blue sign or ask the locals before you go out.
