Due to the two mass of land: Chiba on the East and Yokohama area on the West, there is a Venturi effect with South wind on this beach. The wind is therefore good but usually strait onshore. Probably the best spot for Tokyo after the rainy season (Mid July to August) with thermal building up in the afternoon.
