Access

Short walk |
Take the N3 to Durban. Take the Balfour Offramp and then turn left and head for 95 km until you reach Standerton. You will go under a bridge and then turn right at the 3rd robot. Pass a wimpy on the right and go through a couple of robots until you get to a t-junction. Turn left and then turn left onto the dirt road just before you go under the bridge. Follow the dirt road for about 10 km and you will see a red gate on the left hand side with some signs for a fishing club. Gate may be locked so you may have to be with a member. Go left and then follow the road until you get to the 3rd bay where the kiters are. It's a rough road so take it easy.
Extra information
Do not annoy fishermen. Do not kite near fishermen. Do not kite during fishing competitions. R15 entrance fee per fay or R100/year. This is probably the best close place to JHB in a NW. Sterkies is better but a far longer drive.
