The bay of El Naaba is one of the only sand beaches in South Egypt with perfect sand beach and a big swell already after about 100m away from the beach. The Giant Bay in front of the beach has in strong winds small waves and outside swell up to 3-4 m. Reef to the south. Beginners are learning in the lagoon 1km away from the spot where you find perfect flat water conditions.

The beach is the only sand beach in all the region around Marsa Alam. Kitesurfing without shoes without problems. 200 m beach with soft sand, perfect for launching and landing the kite. The bays are giving enough place for good kiters.

In winter you need a wetsuit. Water about 21°C but with strong wind, very cold air. In winter warm clothes needed, in summer just a lycra as sun protection.

The wind is mainly blowing from the North and is entering the Giant Bay from El Naaba sideshore from the left side. In summer even more wind than in winter, but minimum 60% each month. 12 month in the year good season with minimum 60% wind starting from 4 Bft.

The airport Marsa Alam is 30 minutes away from El Naaba. Before arrival better to organize a transfer, since there are not too many taxis available. The beach is directly located in Hotel Equinox.
