How to get there

Transport
Car
Access
No walk

Only accessible by car. From Willemstad go to Santa Rosa and from there in the direction of Santa Catharina. Turn right to Ostrich farm and ride down till the road stops, it's 300m past the Ostrich farm (great tours and tasty Ostrich steaks!) last part is dirt road. Drive to left side thru the white gate and keep following the dirt road straight to the (still) green gates in front of you. The kiteschool offers pickup and dropoff.

Extra information

Rules
Other

Extremely sensitive natural area. Do not litter and disturb. It is wise not to go there alone, it's pretty remote. Shoes might be useful too! Please educate yourself on the right of way rules and safe launching and landing. Are you a beginner? Welcome!! You might want to launch out of the water till you are comfortable enough to launch from the land.

Nightlife

Willemstad has pretty good nightlife. Mambo beach is pretty good as well. Friday night fish night at Mambo can be recommended. Sunday late afternoon happy hour at Wet & Wild is a must go! And also at Friday you can get free spareribs at Wet'n Wild (next to Mambo). Take a look at http://pasabon.com!!
