Wind goes psycho when from the North. Forecasts reliable. Rufus works when there is a cloud line on Hood River, sucking the wind straight east. Winds can be very steady but also very gusty.

Take Rufus exit from I84 about 1 1/2 hours east of Portland airport or 40 min east from Hood River. Off freeway, head towards the river, take a left and go to the end of the road.
