A wetsuit is necessary nearly all over the year. The water is between 5-20°C (spring to summer), air temperature is in the average 18°C (in summer) and can go up to 30°C. If you have the adequate wetsuit you can surf from April to November. Off-season is possible but very cold.

On highway A20 take the exit 12 `Kroepelin` and go to Kroepelin town. Then follow direction Neubukow and in Neubukow take a right direction Pepelow Salzhaff. Pass Pepelow and continue the road until you reach Boiendorf. In Boiendorf take a right direction Werder and after 1km you reach 2 parking lots. Choose the second parking lot for 20-30 cars about 50m from the shore.

It is forbidden to kite and windsurf west of the harbor. Watch out for beginners and keep distance.

Nightlife

None, but you eat very good and cheap smoked fish at the fisher shop in the camping of Pepelow 5km North.
