Works in SW, W, NW N and NE. Best in SW, then the wind gets accelerated, about 100m from shore. At the Bodensee suddenly storms can hit. Therefore a storm warning system has been created, using orange flashing lights, and ships put up a balloon on the mast. Look out for these signals to avoid getting into problems.

How to get there

Transport
Car
Access
Medium walk

From Kreuzlingen pass the railways in Berlingen, then immediately turn right. Drive 100m and park your car at the parking areas, not directly at the beach! Leave your gear and bring the car back to the parking lot. Find the beach turning left towards the lake.
