Best Direction:
SE, SSE, S
Main Direction:
SE, SSE, S

The predominant wind direction is South to Southeast. North will also work but is a little harder to predict. Watch out for winds that are too easterly as the winds can be gusty and you may have to head aways offshore to get clean wind. If it's too easterly head across the bay to March's Point. Unfortunately it's a better sailing spot than kiting due to the the small rocky launch.

How to get there

Transport
Car
Access
Short walk

Fly to Tacoma Airport. Take I-5 to Mt. Vernon, head west on Hwy 20, then turn right on Bayview-Edison Rd. The launch is at a state park just after you go through the town of Bayview. Going North you actually turn right and follow a park road that goes under the main road to end up at the water.
