Small sandy island. The water conditions depend on which beach you take. Almost always waves when wind. The south beach has a strong current. On some are stones in the water but not if you take the main beaches.

Best directions depending on the beach you are. All beaches are in more or less walking distance or reachable within a few minutes by bike. Since it is an island all directions suitable.

You have to take the ferry from Grenaa which is Northeast of Denmark. The ferry goes once a day in the morning. No cars on the island. But you do not need one since the island is pretty small.
