The beach is quite long. There is no need to stay close to the bridge. 4x4 cars have an advantage! There are large high voltage power lines to the east of the location. Stay away. There are a lot of sea shells which easily rip your kite, especially during ebb tide in the area which falls dry. If you have trouble with your kite avoid the shore.

Take the Highway from Abu Dhabi in the direction to Dubai. You pass Saadiayat Island. Next Island is Yas Island which features the new F1 Racetrack. Leave the Highway at the first exit on Yas Island. Pass below the highway underpass in north direction. Go straight and follow the gravel road towards the sea. There is a tarmac road. Take a right on the tarmac and the pass over the small metal bridge. Directly behind the bridge take a right on towards the beach. It is a good idea to several hundred meters to the east along the beach to stay clear of the power lines.
