Beautiful water colors. Lots of space on the water. Inside the reef flat to choppy and shallow, but ridable almost all the time. Booties recommended, since you don't want to step on animals or corals. But also possible to ride without. Outside the reef small rollers, can be flat in between. Many places to be discovered in the area. Look out for snorkelers who sometimes swim around the reef. And also look out for turtles

Wakatobi Dive Resort is located in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia which is in Southeast Asia. Access from Europe or the US is easy with many airlines offering flights to one of the major cities in Asia and on to Denpasar, Bali which is the gateway (and most amazingly beautiful stopover on the way) to Wakatobi.
Extra information
A kite instructor is only available during windy season June to August. It is a natural reserve with the most beautiful and colorful diving you can ever imagine. Check with the instructors about local rules and advice.
Nightlife
No nightlife but spectacular night dives and FLUO diving with special lights.
